Every Monday night, Mountain View ARES members can access three directed nets:
UHF/220 Net: 7:30 pm W6ASH repeaters 440.800 +, PL 100 and 224.140 –, PL 88 (linked for the net)
Main Net: 8:00 pm, W6ASH repeater 145.270 –, PL 100
Local Net: 8:10 pm (approximately), simplex 146.535 or 147.495 (choice announced on Main Net)

Any licensed ham may participate in the Monday night nets (listen and call in).
Mountain View ARES/RACES members can sign up to be net control or shift supervisor/scribe for the Mountain View local net, and net control for the UHF/220 and Main SPECS nets in February and August. You need a copy of the current roster and script for the net. Knowledge of the phonetic alphabet is helpful.

You can run the net remotely from home, or from the K6MTV radio room (shack) where restrictions apply.

Mountain View provides Net Control operators for the UHF/220 and Main nets in February and August, when they will appear on the signup page for Mountain View. Scripts, rosters, and frequencies are available on the SPECS Monday Net page.
SPECS stands for Southern Peninsula Emergency Communications System. SPECS is a group of seven cities in northern Santa Clara County. The SPECS Repeater Association maintains the W6ASH repeater.
