We Remember Jerry

Jerry Haag died of a cerebral hemorrhage on April 11, 2016.

He served the community as our ARES/RACES EC for 15 years, supporting new members as they trained, and procuring radio and packet equipment for the group. He was also past president of the Fire Associates of Santa Clara Valley and a former Fire Inspector for the San Jose Fire Department. In Mountain View, Jerry drove a support truck for firefighters at multi-alarm fires, bringing sandwiches and dry socks.

A memorial service for Jerry Haag was held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 3 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1715 Grant Road in Los Altos. He was a faithful member and helped with repairs at the church. Jerry was honored at the service by large numbers of Firefighters and Police Officers, ARES members and church members.
